Backup

The Backup function is used to create a backup copy of the Advanced Diary database so that you will have a backup copy of your Diary. It creates a CAB archive file which contains the database of the program. You can use this file to restore the databases if it will be necessary.

To make a backup copy, select the File – Backup… menu item of the Advanced Diary main window.

After that you will see the Backup dialog box:

Specify the file name and location to which you want to backup the information (by pressing the button). You may backup to a folder on your hard drive or a separate drive, such as a removable drive.

After that, press the "OK" button.

You will see a progress indicator of the backup at the bottom of the window.

After the process is complete, you will see the appropriate message.
