What's new in C-Organizer Professional v 3.7
The Margins and Paragraph formatting functions are added into the text editor.
"Database manager" has been improved.

What's new in C-Organizer Professional v 3.6
The "Time Grid" mode into the Appointments section is added.

"Print" function is improved and now sorts all information depending on the sort mode in the appropriate section.
Now you can add the custom date fields with the reminders into the Address Book.

What's new in C-Organizer Professional v 3.4
We've added a Pocket PC and Palm synchronization support! Now you can synchronize your C-Organizer, including Appointments, Tasks and Address book with your Pocket PC or Palm device using the CO Pocket PC Sync and CO Palm Sync tools!
The spell checking and thesaurus features are added!
"Show expired appointments" function is added into the "Appointments" section.
"Apply" button into the "Edit record" window is added. Now, using the "Apply" button you can save changes for the record you are working on without exiting the window.
Customizable hotkeys to call up C-Organizer from system tray are added.

What's new in C-Organizer Professional v 3.2
The password protection feature was improved.
The database encryption has been added. Now C-Organizer encrypts the password protected databases.
We've added the "Print include subfolders" option.
The "Export include subfolders" feature has been added too.
The following features are added into C-Organizer text editor: "Insert Date and Time", "Insert Date" and "Insert Time".
In this version we've added the "Default text editor font" option. This option allows to select a font which will be used when you write a record description or notes.
In additional, the text editor in this version supports not only hyperlinks to Internet addresses, files on your PC and database records. We've added the email addresses support.
"Cut record", "Copy record" and "Paste record" features are added for your convenience. You can cut, copy and paste records directly in the program's main window.
Now C-Organizer displays both "Begin Date" and "Due Date" fields in the Tasks and Appointments area.
The "Email notification" feature supports multiple email addresses. C-Organizer can send the notification not to just one email address.
This version of C-Organizer fully supports the Advanced Diary software. Now Advanced Diary can be used as a plugin for C-Organizer.

What's new in C-Organizer Professional v 3.1

The main new feature in version 3.1:
We've added a "Report Template" feature.
Now is possible to print your records using any predefined C-Organizer templates, modify these templates or create new, using built-in TEMPLATES EDITOR! Now you can create any templates on your own, print phone books, labels and so on.
Also in the new version is possible to EDIT your report before print, save report into RTF or HTML file!
The "Print" feature has been improved too: you can print color reports, include pictures, modify header and footer.

New features:
"Request the password on restore from system tray" option added.
Now C-Organizer works faster with the large databases.
"Show completed tasks" option in the "Tasks" and "Today" areas is added.
Now C-Organizer "remembers" the window size and position for "Add/Edit record" windows and "Today" window.
To make the navigation in C-Organizer easier, we've added more shortcuts to switch between program's modes.
"Address Book" window now supports "Tab" key to move between fields.
Opened database name now is displayed in the main window. You can switch between available databases by one mouse click.
New text editor options added: insert horizontal line, change table cell color.
Now C-Organizer supports the different codepages correctly.

What's new in C-Organizer Professional v 3.0

Tasks List mode in this version include two different submodes:
1 - Appointments: this mode is intended to plan the day (similar Tasks List in the old version, but does not support the groups of tasks)
2 - Tasks: in this mode you can create and track your "global" tasks (ToDo lists). This mode supports the folders and unlimited tree levels.
Now is possible to mark any task as completed directly in the main area. Not necessary to open the record in Edit mode.
The Alarm mode was removed from C-Organizer and included into reminder settings for Appointments, Tasks, Address Book and Events. In this version is possible to select "individual" sound file, set the list of files which will be opened at remind time etc. Actually is possible to use the Appointments as Alarm.
The entries recurring options has extended considerably. Now it is possible to set a recurring X days, only weekdays, each X weeks on specific days etc.
Instead of Alarm we have included the new mode: Passwords. This mode lets you to store your User ID, passwords etc. Also you can use this mode as a simple bookmark manager to store the links to web pages.
All C-Organizer databases are placed into one file (.CDB). Now is possible to create the new databases and to switch between databases directly during the work.
The password protect feature was changed too. If in the old version you protect the software by password, in the new version you can protect the DATABASE by password to limit access to your information, but possible to use the application with another database.
In this version we've added the possibility to preview any record (as Address Book records in the old version) if this record contain the description. Also is possible to open such record as a sticker on the screen.
In this version is possible to select any color for a sticker (not only 10 predefined colors) and a transparency level (this feature is available only for Win 2000, NT, XP).
The Notes and descriptions now supports the rich text formatting, it lets you to change font style or size, insert the pictures, to work with tables and hyperlinks (you can add a link to web page, any external file or to any record in the database).
Now we have included the description field into Address Book entries.
The tree like database structure in the new version supports unlimited tree levels.
Now is possible to work simultaneously with the different windows (adding or editing record)
The powerful Search feature was added.
The sort feature was improved.
Email notifications feature was improved.

How to import the old databases:

Databases are imported the following way:

Tasks Lists: all grouped tasks and tasks without due dates are imported into the Tasks.
The rest of the tasks are imported into the Appointments.
Alarm: all the alarms are imported into the Appointments.
Address Book and Events categories are imported into their respective databases without any changes.

The new version of C-Organizer Professional can detect the old databases automatically if the old version of C-Organizer Professional already installed on your PC. In this case the "Old databases detected" window should be opened. Just click "Yes" button to import the old databases.
As another way you can select "File-Import" main menu item. The "Import" window should be opened. Please select "C-Organizer files v 2.x" Source format. C-Organizer will try to detect the path where the old files are located automatically and put it into Source file. Also you can select the Source file manually. Please click "Browse" button and select file "group.cds".
Note: C-Organizer databases include not only "group.cds" file. Please make sure that all C-Organizer files (*.CDS) located in the same folder.
Click "Import" button to import the databases.
